Know that God is with You

anyways just a few things to clarify la

for an israelite, touching a dead thing
equals defilement of body and is unclean for ... 7 days or so ?

and anything touching an unclean thing becomes unclean
so eventhough within the unclean thing was something good (honey)
it is not right to reach in and defile yourself just to take it

samson knew the laws and regulations as a jew and nazarite
so for him to purposely do that it is like rejecting God
(by becoming unclean thus separating him from God)
and taking his God given anointing etc for granted

samson however still had his strength
but that is cause of God's grace..
we term it grace anointing

but grace anointing does not last forever
it is only for a grace period after which
(if samson did not return to God)
his anointing will be removed and God's presence
will depart from him

so yeah, don't do anything that separates you from God
(sinning or disobeying His commands etc) even if you see
something good / wonderful that you can get by doing that
- the 'reward' is never worth the effort / pain / humbling experience
to get back to where you were with God
